A few words about the app
Whether you plan on setting sail or deciding whether to bike to school or work, this app is for you.
Get instant wind speed and wind direction presented in a beautiful floating compass, along with temperature, pressure, cloudiness and other weather info for your current location.
Wind speed is presented in m/s or MPH depending on your phone's Regions settings. The same same for pressure (hPa or inHg,) temperature (°C or °F,) precipitation (mm or in.)
The app needs a data connection to get weather data.
The wind arrow disappears if there is no wind, then appears blue, changes color to an angry red if there is storm.
Background
My motivation for developing Wind and Weather
I have often been interested in wind direction so I could decide if I should take my bike to school when I was studying or take the bus, but at the time, I did not find a weather app which actually showed wind and wind direction. Appears most other weather app developers live in sunny California and couldn't care less about the wind.
So I decided to create one myself, with a floating compass because it seems no other weather app does it similarly.
